Not a big story in a game in Nanjing where 12th ranked Jiangsu Dragons (10-14) were defeated by second ranked Xinjiang Flying Tige (19-5) 90-81 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was American Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin, agency: Priority Sports) who scored 28 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. The former international point guard Tal Co (191-91) chipped in 23 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international point guard XueFeng Hu (185-80) who recorded 19 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international swingman Da Meng (196-82) added 17 points and 4 steals respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Xinjiang Flying Tige have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 19-5 record having just two points less than leader Guangdong ST. Loser Jiangsu Dragons keep the twelfth place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Sichuan BW. Xinjiang Flying Tige will meet at home Bayi Rockets (#16) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Jiangsu Dragons will play against Shanxi Zhongyu (#17) and hope to secure a win.
