The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked Naturhouse Ferrara (11-5) on the court of fifth ranked Lucca on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Lucca 65-55. The game without a history. Lucca led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 19 Naturhouse Ferrara turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Lucca especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Davide Parente (188-83) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and the former international forward Rodolfo Valenti (198-80) who added 10 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side power forward Michele Benfatto (205-85) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and American forward Milton Jennings (206-90, college: Clemson, agency: Court Side) scored 13 points. Lucca have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Matera and Omegna. Naturhouse Ferrara at the other side still keeps top position with five games lost. They share it with Agrigento. Lucca is looking forward to face Roseto (#8) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Naturhouse Ferrara will play against Matera (#5) and is hoping to win this game.
