Very important is a road loss of second ranked Prat (9-4) against fifth ranked Caceres Basket (8-5) on Sunday night. Visiting Prat was defeated by Caceres Basket in a tough game in Caceres 63-72. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Prat. Prat was trailing by 3 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 23-12 charge of Caceres Basket, which allowed them to win the game. Guard Luis Parejo (195-89) notched 14 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Juan Ruiz (199-78) supported him with 16 points. Even 12 points and 8 rebounds by Montenegrin center Zoran Nikolic (208-96) did not help to save the game for Prat. Guard Alex Ros (192-83) added 13 points for the guests. Prat's coach Carles Duran tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Caceres Basket moved-up to fourth place. Loser Prat still keeps top position with four games lost. They share it with Guadalajara and Fuenlabrada. Caceres Basket will meet Fontedoso Carrefour (#5) in the next round. Prat will play against Askatuak (#13) in San Sebastian and hope to secure a win.
