Regular Season Round 32: Fuerza Regia - Gansos 85-74

There was no surprise in Monterrey where 14th ranked Gansos (2-28) were defeated by sixth ranked Fuerza Regia (17-11) 85-74 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Fuerza Regia. Gansos managed to win fourth quarter 20-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fuerza Regia looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Gansos' players. Worth to mention a great performance of Paul Hernandez who helped to win the game recording 21 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and Roger Cruz who added 14 points and 4 assists during the contest. Four Fuerza Regia players scored in double figures. Fuerza Regia's coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American CamRon Clay (203-82) responded with 21 points and 9 rebounds and Garduno Abraham scored 16 points. Fuerza Regia moved-up to fifth place. Loser Gansos stay dead last with 28 lost games. Fuerza Regia will meet Lechugueros (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Gansos will play against Soles and hope to secure a win.
