Second Stage Round 1: Brahe Basket - Helsingborg 69-87

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Brahe Basket (0-1) in Huskvarna on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by Helsingborg (2-0) 87-69. The game without a history. Helsingborg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Guard Billy Andersson (193-89) fired 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Forward Filip Sjostrom (198-90) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. Jamaican center Hugh Robinson (202-83) produced a double-double by scoring 28 points and 13 rebounds and guard Albin Hedin (185-91) added 12 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Helsingborg is looking forward to face Boras II (#5) at home in the next round. Brahe Basket will play against Talje Knights and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
