An interesting game took place in Belo Horizonte, where higher ranked Palmeiras (7-8) lost to thirteenth ranked Minas (5-8) in a road game 75-85. The hosts were ahead by 12 points but lost the second period ending it with a 3-point deficit before their 34-21 run, which allowed them to win the game. Palmeiras at the other side keeps the ninth place with eight games lost. Minas' next round opponent will be higher ranked Paulistano (#4) in Sao Paolo and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
