An interesting game for Svisloch (13-4) which played road game in Gomel against second-ranked Sozh Gomel (13-4). Third ranked Svisloch had an easy win 74-55. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Sozh Gomel. The game was mostly controlled by Svisloch. Sozh Gomel managed to win fourth quarter 14-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Guard Siarhei Vabishchevich (192-88) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. point guard Pavel Pronin (188-93) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Four Svisloch players scored in double figures. International guard Kiril Sitnik (190-89) answered with 23 points and center Pavel Bliznets (210-94) added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Sozh Gomel. Svisloch have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with defeated Sozh Gomel. Svisloch is looking forward to face Prinemanye (#6) in Grodno in the next round. Sozh Gomel will play on the road against Borisfen (#7) in Mogilev and is hoping to win this game.
