The game in Brest supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Tsmoki-Minsk (8-3) played at the court of 6th ranked BrGU COR Victoria (1-9). Tsmoki-Minsk smashed BrGU COR Victoria 75-51. Tsmoki-Minsk had a 37-25 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Kristen Morris (190-87, college: LSU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds. The former international guard Zhanna Horodetskaya (180-79) contributed with 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Tsmoki-Minsk players scored in double figures. Guard Valentina Sivoplyas (168-92) replied with 12 points and forward Natalia Rusak (180-84) added 9 points and 4 assists in the effort for BrGU COR Victoria. BrGU COR Victoria's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Tsmoki-Minsk maintains third position with 8-3 record having just one point less than leader Gorizont. BrGU COR Victoria lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with nine games lost. Tsmoki-Minsk will play against Sozh Gomel (#4) at home in the next round. BrGU COR Victoria will play against Berezina-RCOR in Borisovo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
