Everything went according to plan in Abbotsford, BC where second ranked Cascades (9-5) beat one of their biggest challengers Wolfpack (6-8) 76-69 on Saturday. Wolfpack trailed by 15 points after 3 quarters before a 22-14 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 69-76 at the end of the game. Cascades dominated on the defensive end, holding Wolfpack to just 4 points in first quarter. They made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Kevon Parchment (191) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and forward Jasper Moedt (201) who added 13 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. American guard Ta-Quan Zimmerman (188, college: Monroe CC) responded with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and center Josh Wolfram (208-92) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Cascades have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 9-5 record having three points less than leader McMaster, which they share with 3 other teams. Wolfpack lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the third place with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
