The game in Rotterdam supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked Den Bosch (15-5) played at the court of 7th ranked Rotterdam (6-14). Den Bosch smashed Rotterdam 83-55 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Den Bosch. Rotterdam was better in third quarter 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Rotterdam 35-17 including a 28-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Den Bosch especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 69.2 percentage. The best player for the winners was American-Iranian point guard Ali Farokhmanesh (183-88, college: N.Iowa) who scored 22 points and 4 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Den Bosch have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. Rotterdam lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 14 games lost. Den Bosch will face bottom-ranked Weert (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rotterdam will play against Leeuwarden and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
