There was a small surprise in Winnipeg, MB where eighth ranked Bisons (2-12) defeated 6th ranked Bobcats (5-9) 68-51 on Saturday. The game without a history. Bisons led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 21 Bobcats turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Andre Arruda-Welch (193) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and guard Amir Ali (188) who added 11 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Forward Jordan Reaves (196) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds and American point guard Ilarion Bonhomme (180) scored 13 points. Bobcats' coach let to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Bisons moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Bobcats dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost. Bisons will have a break next round. Bobcats will play at home against Wesmen (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
