Everything went according to plan when ninth ranked Piaseczno (5-10) outscored at home bottom-ranked Ostrow Mazow. (0-14) 111-64 on Saturday. Piaseczno forced 28 Ostrow Mazow. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Ostrow Mazow.'s players. It was a great evening for forward Sebastian Okola (199-85, college: Mid Plains CC) who led his team to a victory scoring 30 points and 6 rebounds. Swingman Piotr Nawrot (196-84, college: Williston St. JC) helped adding 27 points. The best for the losing side was forward Piotr Barszcz (198-81) with 23 points and center Tomasz Galan (214-89) scored 14 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Piaseczno moved-up to eighth place in Group C. Ostrow Mazow. lost their fourteenth game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with 14 games lost. Piaseczno will face higher ranked UMKS Kielce (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Ostrow Mazow. will play against Tur Bielsk Pdl. (#7) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
