Undefeated leader Gorizont delivered the tenth consecutive win on Saturday night. This time they crushed bottom-ranked Victoria (0-10) 119-49 in Minsk. The game without a history. Gorizont led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They held Victoria to an opponent 25.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 57.1 percent accuracy of the winners. Gorizont forced 27 Victoria turnovers and outrebounded them 48-29 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 38 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Victoria's players. International center Marina Kress (193-80) fired a double-double by scoring 11 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. International guard Natalia Anufryienka (174-85) chipped in 16 points, 6 assists and 5 steals. Five Gorizont players scored in double figures. Gorizont's coach Anatoly Buyalskiy felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tatsiana Khadzko (175-96) produced 13 points and guard Tatsiana Trofymovych (168-98) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Gorizont (10-0) have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 10 victories in a row. Victoria at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost. Gorizont will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Victoria's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Grodno Olimpia GrGAU.
