Regular Season Round 16: Sverresborg - Centrum 82-78

Sverresborg can celebrate finally their first win this season after 12 consecutive loses. They used home court advantage to defeat Centrum (1-11) 82-78 on Sunday. Centrum was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Sverresborg forced 23 Centrum turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Polish guard Adam Kilian (183-85) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 5 rebounds and Estonian guard Kaspar Kaljula (176-89) who added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists during the contest. At the losing side the former international forward Miilah Kombat (198-88, college: N.Idaho JC) responded with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 14 rebounds and guard Nick Kervens (190) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Newly promoted Sverresborg maintains eighth position with 1-12 record. It was Centrum's third loss in a row. They keep the seventh place with 11 games lost. Sverresborg will meet higher ranked Asker Aliens (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Centrum will play against the league's second-placed Gimle BBK having rather not much hope for a victory.
