Regular Season Round 15: Toyota B SR - Fujitsu RW 51-64

Very expected game when 9th ranked Toyota B SR (4-11) lost to third ranked Fujitsu RW (12-3) in Aichi 51-64. Toyota B SR was ahead by 9 points at the halftime before a 44-22 second half run of Fujitsu RW. They also forced 19 Toyota B SR turnovers. The best player for the winners was international swingman Chinatsu Yamamoto (175-91) who scored 21 points and 5 rebounds. The former international power forward Ayumi Suzuki (179-85) chipped in 20 points and 4 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Sari Osabe (174-87) who recorded 9 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Sakiko Nomachi (175-87) added 10 points respectively. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Fujitsu RW. They maintain third place with 12-3 record having just two points less than leader JX Sunflowers, which they share with Denso Iris. Toyota B SR at the other side dropped to the eighth position with 11 games lost. Fujitsu RW's next round opponent will be Aishin Wings (#8) in Anjo which should be theoretically an easy game. Toyota B SR will play on the road against Toyota A. in Nagoya and hope to win that game.
