Naturalized American point guard Zack Rosen (185-89, college: Pennsylvania) contributed with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Five Maccabi Ashdod players scored in double figures. Nigerian-American point guard Michael Umeh (188-84, college: UNLV, agency: Two Points) replied with 17 points and 4 assists and Nigerian forward Ndudi Ebi (206-84, agency: Higher Vision Sports) added 14 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Bnei Hasharon. Bnei Hasharon's coach rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Maccabi Ashdod maintains twelfth position with 3-13 record. Bnei Hasharon lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Maccabi Rishon. Maccabi Ashdod will play against higher ranked Hapoel Eilat (#7) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Bnei Hasharon will play against the league's second-placed Maccabi T-A having rather not much hope for a victory.
