The game in Osaka supposed to be also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Niigata Albirex (19-9) played at the court of 8th ranked Osaka Evessa (11-17). Niigata Albirex smashed Osaka Evessa 76-54 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 76-54. American players dominated the game. Guard Nile Murry (193-83, college: TCU) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Center Patrick Sullivan (206-88, college: SE Louisiana) contributed with 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Niigata Albirex players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Niigata Albirex maintains fifth position with 19-9 record. Loser Osaka Evessa dropped to the seventh place with 17 games lost. Niigata Albirex will face league's second-placed Kyoto Hannar. at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Osaka Evessa will play against Yokohama BC (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
