Very expected game when 6th ranked Cagliari A. (1-10) was crushed at home by second ranked Genova (9-2) 73-53 on Sunday. The game without a history. Genova led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 22 Cagliari A. turnovers. Cagliari A. was plagued by 33 personal fouls down the stretch. Martina Bestagno (189-90) stepped up and scored 21 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and guard Sara De Scalzi (176-83) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side guard Patrizia Marcello (176-76) responded with 17 points and guard Sabrina Pacilio (176-76) scored 8 points.
