Undefeated leader Catz Lappeenranta delivered the sixteenth consecutive win on Sunday night. This time they crushed 7th ranked Kerava Energia Team (4-11) 86-53. Catz Lappeenranta forced 25 Kerava Energia Team turnovers and outrebounded them 46-32 including 32 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Russian forward Elena Reshetko (184-86) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 17 rebounds. American swingman Alexandria Anderson (186-86, college: Chattanooga, agency: Regeneracom Sports) chipped in 21 points and 9 rebounds. American forward Mollie Williams (187, college: Washington) produced 11 points and 7 rebounds and Italian-Ghanian point guard Rosetta Adzasu (165-90, college: Washington St.) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Catz Lappeenranta (16-0) have an impressive series of sixteen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with a perfect record of 16 victories in a row. Kerava Energia Team at the other side keeps the seventh position with 11 games lost. Catz Lappeenranta are looking forward to face HoNsU (#4) in Jyvaskyla in the next round. Kerava Energia Team will play at home against the league's second-placed Peli-Karhut and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
