Regular Season Round 15: Arras - Tarbes 59-63

Rather expected game when 11th ranked Arras (4-11) was defeated at home by ninth ranked Tarbes (6-9) 63-59 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 63-59. It was a great evening for the former international forward Sabrina Reghaissia (188-83) who led her team to a victory scoring 19 points and 5 rebounds. Serbian Jovana Rad (187-87, agency: Josep and Nicolas) helped adding 10 points. The best for the losing side was American guard Sugar Rodgers (180-89, college: Georgetown) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and international guard Anael Lardy (170-87, agency: Josep and Nicolas) scored 9 points and 7 rebounds. The victory was the third consecutive win for Tarbes. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Union Hainaut and Nantes. Arras lost their eighth game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with 11 games lost. They share it with Angers. Tarbes will meet at home higher ranked Villeneuve D'Ascq (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Arras will play against Union Hainaut (#8) in Saint-Amand and hope to secure a win.
