Regular Season Round 18: Svisloch - Prinemanye 72-52

Very expected game in Osipovichi where 6th ranked Prinemanye (4-13) was crushed by second ranked Svisloch (14-4) 72-52 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by Svisloch. Prinemanye managed to win third quarter 14-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Svisloch looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Prinemanye's players. The best player for the winners was Ukrainian center Maksym Kozlovets (205-90) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Sergej Vabischevich (190-88) chipped in 16 points and 6 assists. Four Svisloch players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Pavel Karasevich (201-89) who recorded 17 points and 6 rebounds and center Artem Syrovatko (207-90) added 8 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Prinemanye's coach Vitaly Maklakov rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Svisloch have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 14-4 record having four points less than leader Grodno-93, which they share with Sozh Gomel. Prinemanye lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the sixth place with 13 games lost. Svisloch will meet Impuls BGUIR (#4) in the next round. Prinemanye will play against Borisfen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
