Regular Season Round 27: Nova Ves - Rieker KN 65-86

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Rieker KN (15-9) crushed on the road bottom-ranked Nova Ves (2-21) 86-65 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Rieker KN. Nova Ves was better in second period 16-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Rieker KN dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Nova Ves' 32. They outrebounded Nova Ves 45-24 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for Canadian guard Juevol Myles (185-89, college: S.Dakota) who led his team to a victory with 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Kenny Hall (206-90, college: Tennessee, agency: Three Eye Sports) contributed with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American guard Daniel Barnes (191-89, college: Ill.-Chicago) answered with 24 points and 5 rebounds and Polish power forward Maciej Strzelecki (204-87) added 13 points in the effort for Nova Ves. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rieker KN maintains fourth place with 15-9 record. Nova Ves lost eighth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 21 lost games. Rieker KN will have a break next round. Nova Ves will play at home against Prievidza (#3) and hope to win that game.
