The game in Netanya was also quite interesting. Third ranked Maccabi Ramat Hen (10-5) played at the court of 8th ranked Elitzur Netanya (3-11). Maccabi Ramat Hen defeated Elitzur Netanya 65-55 on Thursday. The game was mostly controlled by Maccabi Ramat Hen. Elitzur Netanya managed to win third quarter 19-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Maccabi Ramat Hen forced 19 Elitzur Netanya turnovers and outrebounded them 42-24 including a 17-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Karima Christmas (182-89, college: Duke) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 15 rebounds and American-Armenian center Brittany Denson (188-87, college: S.Florida) who added 6 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American point guard Amanda Houts (168-87, college: Georgia, agency: Josep and Nicolas) responded with 19 points and 6 rebounds and her fellow American import forward Christine Flores (190-90, college: Missouri) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds (made all of her eight free throws). Maccabi Ramat Hen maintains third position with 10-5 record having just one point less than leader Elitzur Ramla. Elitzur Netanya lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 11 games lost. Maccabi Ramat Hen will meet at home league's second-placed Maccabi Ashdod in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Elitzur Netanya will play against Elitzur Holon (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
