Regular Season Round 35: Huracanes - Gansos 91-55

Very expected game in Tampico where 14th ranked Gansos (2-32) were rolled over by eighth ranked Huracanes (17-15) 91-55. The game without a history. Huracanes led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Gansos' 32. Huracanes forced 25 Gansos turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for American swingman Cliff Tucker (198, college: Maryland) who led the winners and scored 25 points and 6 steals. Bahamas power forward Ryan Moss (200-74, college: UALR) accounted for 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Four Huracanes players scored in double figures. American CamRon Clay (203-82) came up with 20 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import guard Harrison Smith (190, college: Texas Southern) added 8 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Gansos in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Huracanes moved-up to seventh place. Gansos lost sixth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 32 lost games. Huracanes' next round opponent will be Angeles (#10) in Acapulco. Gansos will play on the road against Correcaminos (#13) in Ciudad Victoria and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
