Very important is a road loss of third ranked Leyma Basquet (11-6) against eleventh ranked Melilla Baloncesto (6-11) on Friday night. Visiting Leyma Basquet was defeated by Melilla Baloncesto in Melilla 81-67. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Leyma Basquet. Nigerian-Dominican point guard Sean Ogirri (188-86, college: Wyoming) added 14 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Melilla Baloncesto maintains eleventh position with 6-11 record. Loser Leyma Basquet dropped to the fourth place with six games lost. They share the position with Oviedo and Breogan. Melilla Baloncesto will again meet at home higher ranked Leyma Basquet (#4) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Leyma Basquet will have a break next round.
