Regular Season Round 27: Jiangsu D. - Sichuan BW 94-90

The game between closely ranked teams ended with twelfth ranked Jiangsu Dragons' (13-14) home victory over 13th ranked Sichuan BW (11-16) in Nanjing 94-90 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 10 points after three quarters before their 23-9 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Jiangsu Dragons forced 21 Sichuan BW turnovers. Sichuan BW was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American forward Marcus Haislip (208-80, college: Tennessee) who led his team to a victory with 31 points and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import power forward Jackson Vroman (208-81, college: Iowa St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. American D.J. White (206-86, college: Indiana) answered with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds and Iranian center Hamed Haddadi (218-85) added 10 points, 24 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Sichuan BW. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. The victory was the third consecutive win for Jiangsu Dragons. They moved-up to eleventh place. Newly promoted Sichuan BW keeps the thirteenth position with 16 games lost. Jiangsu Dragons will face Bayi Rockets (#17) in Ningbo in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Sichuan BW will play at home against Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
