No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Lobe Huesca (8-9) beat at home 12th ranked Ourense (5-12) 73-65 on Friday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Ourense won third quarter 17-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Ourense 46-26 including a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for power forward Pierre Oriola (206-92) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 15 rebounds. Lithuanian forward Marius Grigonis (198-94) contributed with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Lobe Huesca players scored in double figures. Ivorian-American forward Jonathan Kale (203-85, college: Providence) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and American-Italian swingman Ryan Zamroz (192-87, college: Master's, agency: Players Group) added 14 points in the effort for Ourense. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Lobe Huesca moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Clinicas Rincon. Loser Ourense keeps the twelfth position with 12 games lost. Lobe Huesca will face again Ourense (#12) at home in the next round where they are favorite.
