There was a surprise result when fifteenth ranked Nantes (11-14) outscored at home higher ranked Saint-Quentin (12-13) 86-65 on Friday. They outrebounded Saint-Quentin 35-24 including 27 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Nantes especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 69.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American Allen Durham (198-88, college: Grace Bible) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. American-Italian point guard Anthony Raffa (185-89, college: Co.Carolina) chipped in 20 points and 5 assists. Durham is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Power forward Julien Lesieu (201-83) produced 20 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and American Darnell Williams (202-78, college: San Jose St., agency: David Lee services) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Nantes moved-up to twelfth place. Saint-Quentin lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with 13 games lost. Nantes will face higher ranked Le Portel (#7) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
