The game in Leeuwarden supposed to be also worth to mention about. 7th ranked Rotterdam (6-15) played at the court of eighth ranked Leeuwarden (7-14). Leeuwarden smashed Rotterdam 85-64. Rotterdam's coach Ferry Steenmetz gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Leeuwarden moved-up to seventh place. Rotterdam lost seventh consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with 15 games lost. Leeuwarden will play against higher ranked Leiden (#6) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Rotterdam will have a break next round.
