Very expected game in Uppsala where 6th ranked Mark Basket (6-7) was defeated by second ranked Sallen (11-4) 88-71 on Saturday. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Sallen's pressure prevailed and they won that period 26-11 extending their advantage to 17 points. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Mark Basket's 38. They outrebounded Mark Basket 37-21 including 26 on the defensive glass. Sallen looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The former international guard Chioma Nnamaka (183-85, college: Georgia Tech) fired 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Loser Mark Basket keeps the sixth position with seven games lost. Sallen will meet at home Solna Vikings (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
