Very important is a road loss of second ranked MOSiR Krosno (13-4) against sixth ranked WKK Wroclaw (11-6) on Saturday night. Visiting MOSiR Krosno was defeated by WKK Wroclaw in Wroclaw 71-61. MOSiR Krosno was trailing by 3 points at halftime but managed to get 5-point lead after three quarters before a 22-7 charge of WKK Wroclaw, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated on the defensive end, holding MOSiR Krosno to just 7 points in fourth quarter. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Bartosz Diduszko (198-87) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks. Center Marcin Kolowca (209-87) chipped in 6 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Wojciech Pisarczyk (201-88) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Grzegorz Grochowski (180-93) added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. WKK Wroclaw moved-up to fifth place. Loser MOSiR Krosno keeps the second position with four games lost. WKK Wroclaw will meet Astoria Bydg. (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. MOSiR Krosno will play against MKS DG (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
