Date: January 25, 2014
Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked FIATC Joventut (8-9) lost on the road to second ranked Valencia Basket (15-2) 85-69 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 33-11 charge, which allowed them to win the game. American guard Oliver Lafayette (188-84, college: Houston) contributed with 13 points and 5 assists for the winners. Naturalized Senegalese forward Sitapha Savane (201-78, college: Navy) answered with 26 points (on 12-of-13 shooting from the field) and American forward John Shurna (204-90, college: Northwestern, agency: Priority Sports) added 14 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for FIATC Joventut.
