Very important is a road loss of second ranked Huskies (12-4) against fourth ranked Pronghorn (10-6) on Saturday night. Visiting Huskies were defeated by Pronghorn in Lethbridge, AB 97-84. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Huskies. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 97-84. Pronghorn outrebounded Huskies 44-27 including a 30-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for guard Logan Reiter (188) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points and 6 rebounds. American guard Alex Fletcher (185) helped adding 18 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. point guard Evan Ostertag (183) responded with 25 points and 4 assists and guard Ben Baker (191) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Pronghorn and four Huskies players scored in double figures. Huskies' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Pronghorn maintains fourth place with 10-6 record. Loser Huskies keep the second position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
