Not a big story in a game in Kingston, ON where 6th ranked Golden Gaels (7-9) were rolled over by second ranked Gee-Gees (14-2) 100-79 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Gee-Gees. Golden Gaels was better in fourth quarter 28-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for guard Terry Thomas (193) who led his team to a victory scoring 42 points (!!!) (on 15-of-19 shooting from the field). point guard Michael L'Africain (185) helped adding 21 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Sukhpreet Singh (188) responded with 17 points and point guard Roshane Roberts (183) scored 16 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Gee-Gees keep a position of league leader, which they share with Victoria and Alberta. Golden Gaels lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the third place with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
