The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Trento (13-5) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were edged by twelfth ranked FCM Ferentino (8-10) 66-65. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Trento. The guests trailed by 13 points after first quarter, but they rallied back getting tie in the second period and winning the second half and won the game by 1 point. FCM Ferentino made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 30 Trento turnovers. Strangely Trento outrebounded FCM Ferentino 84-58 including a 28-14 advantage in offensive rebounds. 36 personal fouls committed by Trento helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Naturalized American swingman Ryan Bucci (192-81, college: C.W. Post) scored 19 points to lead the charge for the winners and the former international power forward Luca Garri (207-82) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Davide Pascolo (201-90) with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds and power forward Filippo Baldi Rossi (207-91) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. FCM Ferentino moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Novipiu Casale and Napoli Basket. Trento at the other side still keeps top position with five games lost. They share it with Upea CdO. FCM Ferentino is looking forward to face league's second-placed Upea CdO in Capo d'Orlando in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Trento will have a break next round.
