There was a small surprise when eleventh ranked Vivo/Franca (8-9) won against 9th ranked SKY/Basquete (8-10) in Sao Paulo 73-61 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 24-5 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Vivo/Franca dominated on the defensive end, holding SKY/Basquete to just 5 points in third quarter. They made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. Vivo/Franca forced 19 SKY/Basquete turnovers. The former international center Paulo Prestes (210-88) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 6 rebounds.
