Regular Season Round 15: CFBB - Le Havre 80-82

Fourteenth-ranked CFBB (1-16) used its home court advantage to challenge seventh ranked Le Havre (8-8) in Paris. The visitors from Le Havre managed to secure only two-point victory 82-80. However their fans expected much easier game. Le Havre forced 20 CFBB turnovers. The best player for the winners was Sarah Ousfar (183-93) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds. point guard Joelly Belleka (163-95) chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Ornella Bankole (180-97) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds and forward Katia Clanet (187-96) added 12 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Five Le Havre and four CFBB players scored in double figures. CFBB's coach Gregory Halin tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Newly promoted Le Havre maintains seventh place with 8-8 record. CFBB at the other side stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost. Le Havre's next round opponent will be Reims (#8) at home. CFBB will play against Dunkerque (#11) and hope to win that game.
