We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 14th ranked Universo/Goiania (5-12) was defeated at home by fifteenth ranked Macae (6-12) 72-66. Universo/Goiania was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 45-36 second half run of Macae.
