Very expected game when 8th ranked Manitoba (4-12) was rolled over on the road by second ranked Regina (14-2) 74-50 on Saturday. The game without a history. Regina led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 19 Manitoba turnovers and outrebounded them 43-30 including a 29-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Regina looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Charlotte Kot (183-95) who scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Nicole Clarke (180-90) chipped in 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Regina players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was German guard Christiane Fischer (168-90) who recorded 8 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Allison Balasko (180) added 11 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Regina have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Alberta and Windsor. Manitoba lost seventh consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth place with 12 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
