Regular Season Round 17: Yamanashi QB - Mitsubishi K. 55-67

Very expected game when 12th ranked Yamanashi QB (1-16) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Mitsubishi K. (11-6) 67-55. The game was mostly controlled by Mitsubishi K.. Yamanashi QB was better in fourth quarter 10-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Mitsubishi K. players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Guard Yuki Ikeya (174-93) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points. International center Enjin Wantsu (189-87) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Forward Honoka Osanai (168-90) answered with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and Hatanaka Miho (177-85) added 8 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Yamanashi QB. Mitsubishi K. maintains sixth place with 11-6 record. Yamanashi QB lost their fourth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost. Mitsubishi K.'s next round opponent will be Ebara Vickies (#11) in Tokyo which should be theoretically an easy game. Yamanashi QB will play on the road against Toyota B SR in Aichi and hope to win that game.
