Second Stage Round 13: Quilmes MP - Argentino 76-71
Date: January 26, 2014
No shocking result in a game in Mar del Plata where sixth ranked Quilmes MP (7-6) defeated 14th ranked Argentino (3-10) 76-71 on Sunday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Argentino was trailing by 3 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 22-16 charge of Quilmes MP, which allowed them to win the game. Point guard Fabian Sahdi (189-89) fired 18 points and 4 assists for the winners. Center Diego Romero (206-82, college: Florida St.) chipped in 15 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field).
