A very close game took place in Eskilstuna between Brahe Basket and Eskilstuna. Brahe Basket (2-3) got a very close victory on the road over Eskilstuna (2-1). Brahe Basket managed to escape with a 2-point win 93-91 on Sunday evening. Eskilstuna was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 12-point lead after three quarters before a 32-18 charge of Brahe Basket, which allowed them to win the game. They made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for Jamaican center Hugh Robinson (202-83) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Adrian Thorangen (195-93, college: Cuesta JC) helped adding 18 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Pontus Lennartsson (198-93) with 20 points and 7 rebounds and Spanish power forward Ivan Saez (198-91) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. Five Brahe Basket and four Eskilstuna players scored in double figures. Brahe Basket will meet at home Haga Haninge (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Eskilstuna will play against Helsingborg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
