Regular Season Round 28: Beijing Ducks - Jilin NE T. 122-111

Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Jilin Tigers (9-19) were defeated on the road by third ranked Beijing Ducks (20-8) 122-111 on Sunday. Jilin Tigers were tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Beijing Ducks forced 20 Jilin Tigers turnovers. Jilin Tigers were plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Americans were the main players on the court. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Randolph Morris (211-86, college: Kentucky) who helped to win the game recording 28 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Damien Wilkins (201-80, college: Georgia, agency: Priority Sports) who added 32 points and 6 assists during the contest. At the losing side forward Leon Rodgers (201-80, college: N.Illinois) responded with a double-double by scoring 45 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds (made all of his twelve free throws !!!) and power forward Denzel Bowles (208-89, college: JMU) scored 25 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Jilin Tigers' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Beijing Ducks have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 20-8 record having five points less than leader Guangdong ST. Loser Jilin Tigers keep the fourteenth place with 19 games lost. Beijing Ducks will face Shandong Bulls (#9) in Jinan in the next round where they are favorite. Jilin Tigers will play at home against Fujian (#10) and hope to win that game.
