Very important is a road loss of third ranked Hapoel Afula (10-6) against fourth ranked Ironi Ramat Gan (10-6) on Tuesday night. Visiting Hapoel Afula was defeated by Ironi Ramat Gan in Ramat Gan 92-82. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Hapoel Afula. The game without a history. Ironi Ramat Gan led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Ironi Ramat Gan shot 29 for 49 from the free-throw line, while Hapoel Afula only scored twelve points from the stripe. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The game was also dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Mark Tyndale (196-86, college: Temple) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 10 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists and forward T.J. Robinson (203-89, college: Long Beach St., agency: Global Sports Plaza) who added 23 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Five Ironi Ramat Gan players scored in double figures. At the losing side power forward Jeff Allen (201-87, college: Virginia Tech) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 18 rebounds and guard Roburt Sallie (196-86, college: Memphis, agency: Blacktop Management) scored 23 points. Hapoel Afula's coach Rami Hadar rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Ironi Ramat Gan moved-up to third place, which they share with R.Hasharon and Hapoel Afula. Ironi Ramat Gan will meet league's second-placed Hapoel Kazrin on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Hapoel Afula will play against Ironi Kiryat Ata and hope to secure a win.
