Twelfth-ranked Elitzur Yavne (6-10) made lots of trouble for fifth ranked Ramat Hasharon (10-6) on Tuesday. Ramat Hasharon managed to secure only two-point victory 81-79. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 30-18 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Five Elitzur Yavne players scored in double figures. Ramat Hasharon have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Ironi Ramat Gan and Hapoel Afula. Loser Elitzur Yavne keeps the twelfth position with ten games lost. Ramat Hasharon will face Hapoel Kfar Saba (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Elitzur Yavne will play against Elitzur Ramla and hope to win that game.
