Regular Season Round 29: B.Bystrica - Inter Bratislava 86-94

Leader Inter Bratislava delivered the twentieth first victory. This time they beat 6th ranked SKP Banska Bystrica (10-16) 94-86. It looked good early as SKP Banska Bystrica took an 4-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Inter Bratislava had a 32-13 second period charge getting the lead and SKP Banska Bystrica was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 86-94. American guard Derek Williams (185-85, college: SMU, agency: IBS) orchestrated the victory by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Justin Graham (193-88, college: San Jose St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Inter Bratislava players scored in double figures. American point guard Chris Lowe (182-87, college: Massachusetts, agency: KMG Sports Management) answered with 27 points and 5 assists and the former international power forward Peter Dorazil (199-89) added 12 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for SKP Banska Bystrica. Inter Bratislava have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 21-5 record. SKP Banska Bystrica at the other side dropped to the seventh position with 16 games lost. Inter Bratislava will play against Iskra Svit (#5) on the road in the next round. SKP Banska Bystrica will play against Rieker KN and hopes to get back on the winning track.
