Regular Season Round 22: Laurier - Windsor 59-70

An interesting game for Lancers (15-2) which played road game in Waterloo against their biggest opponent Laurier (13-4). First ranked Lancers managed to get a 11-point victory 70-59. The game was mostly controlled by Lancers. Laurier managed to win third quarter 21-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of international point guard Miah-Marie Langlois (173-91) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. French forward Jessica Clemencon (190-89) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Guard Laura Doyle (170) replied with 16 points and 7 rebounds and guard Bree Chaput (173) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Laurier. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lancers maintains first position with 15-2 record. Laurier at the other side keeps the second place with four games lost. They share the position with Western. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
