There was a small surprise in Auckland where sixth ranked New Zealand Breakers (8-11) beat 4th ranked Kings (9-9) 105-87 on Thursday. The game was mostly controlled by New Zealand Breakers. Kings was better in third quarter 29-27. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. New Zealand Breakers made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Kings were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch.
