Regular Season Round 18: Kalev/Cramo - TU/Rock 68-75

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Kalev/Cramo (13-1) in Tallinn on Friday night. Hosts were defeated by TU/Rock (15-1) 75-68. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 36-27 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for Lithuanian forward Vilmantas Dilys (208-87, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds. International Gert Dorbek (193-85) contributed with 13 points for the winners. TU/Rock's coach Gert Kullamae used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. U.S. Virgin Islands center Frank Elegar (208-86, college: Drexel) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds and Romanian forward Vlad-Sorin Moldoveanu (209-88, college: American) added 15 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Kalev/Cramo. TU/Rock have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 15-1 record. Defending champion Kalev/Cramo keeps the third place with one game lost. TU/Rock are looking forward to face bottom-ranked KK Hito (#9) in Johvi in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kalev/Cramo's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tallinn TTU.
