Regular Season Round 31: Eco Orebro - Norrkoping 74-85

Very expected game when 10th ranked Eco Orebro (4-23) lost at home to third ranked Norrkoping Dolphins (15-9) 85-74. It looked good early as Eco Orebro took an 5-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Norrkoping Dolphins had a 32-21 second period charge getting the lead and Eco Orebro was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 74-85. American forward William Walker (200-87, college: Bethel, IN) fired 19 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. His fellow American import swingman Jermont Horton (198-84, college: Rutgers-Newark) chipped in 16 points. Walker is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Norrkoping Dolphins players scored in double figures. American guard Ronnie Boggs (193-91, college: Jacksonville St.) produced 19 points and 4 assists and Croatian point guard Mario Pesut (184-90) added 22 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Norrkoping Dolphins have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain third place with 15-9 record having seven points less than leader Boras. Eco Orebro at the other side stay dead last with 23 lost games. Norrkoping Dolphins' next round opponent will be KFUM Jamtland (#8) at home which should be theoretically an easy game. Eco Orebro will play against Nassjo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
